Including classical, pop and movie music, theory, scale exercises and more! We use a well-rounded approach combining traditional by ear, learning by ear and understanding musical patterns.

All materials and lesson plans are sent to you at least 7 days before lessons. No more than 15 minutes of preparation is required per lesson! Lesson books are sent to students by post or email (based on their preference) 7 days prior to the beginning of the term.
We provide extensive commercial liability, errors and omissions coverage for all of our instructors. It’s also recommended to purchase your own insurance, which can be reimbursed by the Academy with a proof of purchase.

Our Values
Kindness is at the centre of our music academy. We all met somebody who had a difficult time with their instructor’s rigid approach growing up. Here, we value humor, curiosity and the desire to learn above performance & excellence.
Our Story
Sam’s music academy was born in his living room. Teaching has always been a passion for him. Over the last 2 years, he has built a well-rounded piano & guitar group lesson program for 4 different levels. Students learn to play the most well-known classical repertoire and to read music, but they also learn to play by ear their favorite music and pop music. During covid times, 11 groups were created, most of them full. Living in PEI, he’s grateful to have been able to teach in person with a few lessons online, the province being one of the less affected by covid-19 in Canada. With restrictions behind us, he’s now sharing the standardized program nationally and hiring instructors following the model!
