Our Content
Our program is centered on humor and curiosity. During their first year, children learn their first few songs that they should all recognize including Mary Had A Little Lamb, Jingle Bells and Happy Birthday! In our intermediate and advanced classes, students can learn to play their favorite classical pieces such as the Turkish March by Mozart, movie music from Star Wars or Harry Potter and even some pop songs by Ed Sheeran! They also learn to play by ear and by reading sheet music.
Our Vision
Students learn the keyboard in groups from 3 to 6 people. Groups are divided by age (young kids, pre-teens, teenagers and adults). At the beginner level, they are paired in groups of 2. Several locations include keyboards directly on site. If you can’t bring your own, simply indicate it on the registration and we’ll make sure there’s one for you!
Our Materials
Did you know that we have our own SG Academy Lesson Books? Our lesson books are produced by the academy’s team of instructors! We provide keyboards during lessons, but we suggest to purchase a small keyboard (minimum 61 keys, Yamaha or CASIO) or Marketplace for kids to practice at home.
